Frequently Asked Questions

HIV and STDs

I'm HIV negative. How safe is it to have sex with a POZ guy?

Kissing, watching porn or erotica, mutual masturbation, and massage are all ways to play safe. Sucking a cock and licking someone’s ass has a low (but not no) risk of HIV transmission but can definitely spread other STDs like
gonorrhea, Chlamydia, herpes and syphilis. If one partner has HIV and the other partner has an STD, HIV is more easily spread. Being a top (insertive anal sex) and using a condom with lots of lube is less safe than activities already mentioned but safer than being a bottom (receptive anal sex) with a condom and lots of lube. Not using condoms when fucking or being fucked is the activity most likely to lead to an HIV transmission and is not advisable when one partner is HIV positive and the other is not. Ask or tell status before sex OR use condoms if don’t ask/don’t tell is your motto.
