Regular, moderate exercise and eating helps reduce stress, immune system
functioning, build muscle, regulate sleep, manage weight, increase energy,
and reduce our change of getting certain chronic diseases (i.e. diabetes,
heart disease, osteoporosis).
No one-size-fits-all exercise or diet plan exists. Talk to a health provider
to see what’s right for you, including vitamins, supplements, and
steroids. For help with food planning, talk to a registered dietician ask
your health provider for a referral.
GBT guys are at increased risk for eating disorders--binge eating and purging--and
often have crappy body image. Since most don’t assume guys have eating
disorders, there can be more shame, denial, and stigma for us.
